Actress and filmmaker Annabelle Attanasio helmed several well-received short films before her performing career blossomed in 2015 with roles on "The Knick" (Cinemax, 2014-15) and "Bull" (CBS, 2016-). Born May 11, 1993 in Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of veteran television producers Paul Attanasio and Katie Jacobs ("House," Fox, 2004-2012). She found her calling as a performer at an early age, appearing in dozens of plays throughout her teenaged years, and making her screen debut at the age of 11 in an episode of "Century City" (CBS, 2004), a short-lived science fiction series produced by her mother. Attanasio attended New York University's Gallatin School, where she continued to train as an actress while also delving into writing and directing plays and short films. While working on these projects, she also made occasional appearances in independent features and television series, most notably in a recurring role on the period medical drama "The Knick" (Cinemax, 2014-15) in 2015. Her work on the series was soon followed by a flurry of activity on both sides of the camera: her 2015 short "Anchovies" won an audience award from the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, while her acting c.v. bloomed with supporting turns in Amber Tamblyn's "Paint It Black" (2016) and "Barry" (2016), a drama about Barack Obama during his days as a lawyer. That same year, Attanasio was cast as a hacker who provided cyber intelligence to medical testimony expert Dr. Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly) on the CBS drama "Bull."
