Winner: Javier Colon

What He’s Up to Now: After winning the first season of the show back in 2011, Colon released an album called Come Through for You. Unfortunately, it didn’t do very well on the charts. He left his record label and released another album titled Gravity in 2016.

The Voice - Jermaine Paul

Season 2

Winner: Jermaine Paul

What He’s Up to Now: Paul took home the trophy as a member of Team Blake in 2012. He has yet to put out a studio album, but he does apparently still perform in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Winner: Cassadee Pope

What She’s Up to Now: Pope may be one of the most successful winners of all time. Not only is she a Grammy-nominated artist thanks to her song “Think of You” with Chris Young, she also released her debut country album in 2013 called Frame by Frame. Her second album is called Stages and was released in 2019. She is currently on tour with singer Maren Morris.

Winner: Danielle Bradbery

What She’s Up to Now: Bradbery won the show in 2013 and released her self-titled debut album. She released her second album called I Don’t Believe We’ve Met in 2017. She has toured with a number of country stars including Brett Eldredge and Thomas Rhett. She will be touring with Kane Brown this summer.

What She’s Up to Now: Chin released her first full-length album in 2014 called Count on My Love. She released a single called “Love Suicide” in 2016, but she hasn’t put out any other music since.

Winner: Josh Kaufman

What He’s Up to Now: Instead of immediately releasing music after winning the show in 2014, Kaufman decided to take the lead role in Pippin on Broadway. He then released an EP called Truth Be Told in 2016. He also went back to Broadway in 2017 for the Home for Holidays: Live on Broadway show.

Winner: Craig Wayne Boyd

What He’s Up to Now: After winning the show, Boyd released his single, “My Baby’s Got a Smile on Her Face,” but he didn’t put out an album for years. In 2017 he finally put out his album called Top Shelf.

Winner: Sawyer Fredericks

What He’s Up to Now: Fredericks released his self-titled EP in 2015 and put out his second album, A Good Storm, in 2016. His music has also been featured in a number of television shows, including Code Black.

Winner: Jordan Smith

What He’s Up to Now: Smith’s first album was called Something Beautiful and it was released in March 2016. He then released his second album in October 2016 called ‘Tis the Season. He also wrote Celine Dion’s song for Deadpool 2 called “Ashes” in 2018 and released another album called Only Love.

Winner: Alisan Porter

What She’s Up to Now: Porter released her single “Deep Water” in 2017. She then dropped an EP that same year called I Come in Pieces.

What He’s Up to Now: After winning The Voice, Head went on tour with his coach Blake Shelton. He released his first album following his win earlier this year called Stained Glass and Neon.

What He’s Up to Now: Blue hit the top spot on the Billboard Hot Gospel Songs chart with his cover of “Take Me to the King” in May 2017. He released another single called “Blue Blood Blues” in December 2017, but hasn’t put out an album.

What She’s Up to Now: Right after she won, Kohanski released her first single called “Come This Far” in May 2018. She also released a song called “Wish I Didn’t Love You” and is working on her new album right now.

What She’s Up to Now: Cartelli released her single “Walk My Way” after she won the show and joined her coach Kelly Clarkson on tour as her opening act!

Winner: Chevel Shepherd

What She’s Up to Now: Shepherd only just won The Voice a few months ago, so she’s still working on her new music. She did release her single “Broken Hearts” after she won the trophy in December 2018.

The U.S. version of The Voice has only been on the air for eight years (though it feels like 25), but they’re somehow already on their 16th season! Season 16 has yet to crown a winner, but there are 15 other winners who have had to conquer the music industry following their time on television.
