Get to Know Clare Crawley’s ‘Bachelorette’ 2020 Contestants (PHOTOS)
Let’s try this again, shall we?
Back in March, just hours after Peter Weber‘s season of The Bachelor wrapped, ABC dropped photos of the 32 contestants for Clare Crawley‘s The Bachelorette 2020. Unfortunately, the world had a different plan for Clare as Season 16 production was soon pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic and shutdowns.
In the off-season, a lot happened, from one of her initial suitors being selected as the new Bachelor Season 25 star (congrats, Matt James!), to the show deciding to film an entire quarantined season on a resort. And with the premiere now only weeks away (on Tuesday, October 13), ABC has narrowed down the 42 potential contestants for the California beauty to 31!
Will charming doctor Joe or former pro football player Eazy (who wasn’t one of the 42 potential suitors) win Clare over? Will Clare and Yosef’s “priorities clash?” ABC’s press release asks, “Can Bennett reveal a deeper level to his love and win the Bachelorette’s heart? Dale gives a great first impression, but does he have what it takes to make Clare his for a lifetime of happiness?”
By the end of the premiere, only 23 bachelors will remain on Clare’s journey to find the man of her dreams. And Bachelor Nation will get “the first glimpse at the shocking moment that will change the course of this passionate, crazy journey, unlike any other in franchise history,” the network promises. If rumors are to be believed, one of the aforementioned men will be part of a major twist this season.
Fans can get a better feel for those wooing Clare (and pitching for their time on Bachelor in Paradise) in advance with the bios in the gallery above. Is this cast a little older for the 39-year-old lead? Scroll down to find out! And sound off in the comments below with your initial impressions of the men!

I really was hoping they would have men that are Clare's age. It would be really nice to see some maturity in this show, especially after the train wreck of a season on The Bachelor.
-
G
This is the second casting. The first cast was like all 20 year olds and she turned them down. So this is a step up from that I think

G
NO, NO, NO!!! I was so excited when I saw it was Clare and I was going to watch it but seriously? A 23-year-old? I'm over it.
-
O
Insane, why would this young 20 something guys want to date a 38 year old.
-
-
B
This is silly! They are all too young for her! Where's Barbara to help out?
-
O
Wow! Not a very good looking lineup for Claire. I see Maybe 3 possibilities for her in there. They are all way too young for her! Shame on who ever was responsible for the casting. I kinda feel sorry for Claire for this season unless she specifically asked for the youngsters lol.
-
O
Bret Engaman, of course. He was my next door neighbor.
-
O
20 of the Bachelor's are too young for Claire...Probably won't watch....

I was excited about the season as all would be older and actually ready to settle down but after viewing the possible contestants who are 10+ years younger than Claire, really? What is up with that?

B
Ed W. from Miami!!!

R

Unless Clare specifically asked for all these young guys, shame on you!!! Obviously a lot of people including Clare are not serious about this!!! 23, 24, 25 REALLY?

Not certain any will workout given the history of the show and it’s unsuccessful ability to cast people who are truly in it for love and not fame. Maybe, Aaron G and Mike T.
After this lat season with Disappointing Peter I may not even watch. Best wishes to Clare💕
-
B
Blake and Ed get my top two choices going on looks alone.
