They’ve been ripped apart by time travel, tested through various imprisonments and captures and 18th century struggles and, perhaps most devastatingly, war. Despite spending decades apart, Jamie and Claire’s love for each other never wanes and their bond remains as strong as ever even when they’re separated by hundreds of years.
In the Season 3 finale of Outlander, Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire (Caitriona Balfe) washed up on the southern shores of colonial America — barely alive — but ready to start anew in a new country.
In newly released Season 4 photos, fans get a peek into the Fraser’s life in colonial North Caroline, where they begin to build a life. In the preview pics, Claire befriends the indigenous people of the land and works on her herbal medicine while Jamie still seems to have his guard up.
Meanwhile in the 20th century, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Roger (Richard Rankin) reunite and enjoy a night of dancing and laughter. In the latest trailer released by Starz, fans catch a glimpse of Jamie and Claire’s daughter in 18th century wardrobe about to time travel back through the stones.
We can’t wait for that family reunion (and it’ll be the first time Jamie meets his daughter)!
