‘Outlander’ Sneak Peek: Brianna Confronts Her Past (PHOTOS)

This Sunday’s Outlander episode, titled “Providence,” marks Season 4’s penultimate episode, and the drama is coming to a head.
Roger (Richard Rankin) has walked hundreds of miles north with the Mohawk tribe (after he was mistakenly sold to them) and has finally landed in New York. Now, he must fight to survive until he can either run away or have Claire (Caitriona Balfe), Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Young Ian (John Bell) locate and rescue him.
Meanwhile, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) and Lord John Grey (David Berry) have agreed to marry, but she wants to confront “a violent figure from her past in an attempt to cope with her trauma.” We’re guessing that’s Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) — who, along with Murtagh (Duncan Lacroix) — has been arrested. But according to the logline, Marsali (Lauren Lyle) has a “dangerous” plan to save a “friend.”
