Janelle Monáe Is at the Center of 'Homecoming' Season 2's New Mystery (VIDEO)
Homecoming returns to Amazon Prime Video with a new mystery and a new star for its second season.
Premiering May 22, the series follows Janelle Monáe, whose character wakes in a rowboat adrift in a lake, with no memory of how she got there — or who she is. Her search for identity leads her into the heart of the Geist Group, the wellness company behind the Homecoming Initiative. The promo below offers a look at that moment of confusion, as well as what comes next.
Stephan James returns as Walter Cruz, and he's trying to build a new life after the traumas of war and the Homecoming Initiative. But then he realizes there's an even more insidious version of the program underway — if only he can remember. Also back is Hong Chau as Geist anonymous underling Audrey Temple (who finds herself in unexpected positions at the top of the corporate ladder).
Chris Cooper joins the cast as the eccentric founder of the company, Leonard Geist, and Joan Cusack plays the equally eccentric military woman Francine Bunda.
