Every Season of ‘Bachelor’ & ‘Bachelorette’ on HBO Max: Which to Stream First
After months and months of anticipation, HBO Max is finally here. The streaming service officially launched on Wednesday, May 27, and while it’s chock full of all your favorite movies and scripted shows, it’ll also be home to some of the best Bachelor franchise series of all time.
Not only will the streaming service have past seasons of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, and Bachelor in Paradise, it will also be home to all three seasons of Bachelor Pad and international seasons of Bachelor and Bachelorette!

Bachelorette Season 14: Becca Kufrin
There’s no denying Becca was a fantastic Bachelorette — she’s smart, beautiful, and has a great head on her shoulders — but her season wasn’t all that dramatic. She had a decent group of eligible suitors (which always makes or breaks a season), but we’re not necessarily jumping at the chance to re-watch her journey.
Bachelor Pad Season 3
Season 3 of Bachelor Pad tried to shake up its original format by adding fans to the mix, but it just didn’t work. By this point, the allure of the show had worn off, so it’s no surprise the show was canceled after this season.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 5
Season 5 of BIP established some couples that are still together to this day, but we can’t say it’s the craziest season to ever exist. There are, however, love triangles, tears, and engagements, which always makes for good TV. Definitely check this season out, but don’t make it your first stop.
Bachelor Season 23: Colton Underwood
Colton’s season probably won’t go down as one of the best Bachelor seasons ever, but it did bring great entertainment. Watch his season for his infamous fence jump alone.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 6
This was definitely not the most dramatic season of BIP, but it did feature the first same-sex couple in Bachelor history, which makes it at least a groundbreaking season. Though it may not have you on the edge of your seat, the relationships are sweet and the drama is certainly present.
Bachelor Pad Season 2
Season 2 of Bachelor Pad had some crazy moments — exes Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi reuniting — and it did give us our only Bachelor Pad marriage, but it doesn’t quite compare to the inaugural season. But seriously, watch for the Jake and Vienna reunion alone.
Bachelorette Season 12: JoJo Fletcher
JoJo was such a fan-favorite on Ben’s season of The Bachelor, so it’s no surprise she also became one of the most beloved Bachelorettes of all time. She had some great guys, including Jordan Rodgers and Wells Adams, and she also had one of the craziest Bachelor Nation villains of all time in Chad Johnson.
Bachelor in Paradise Season 4
Season 4 of BIP was actually the season that almost didn’t happen. For those who don’t remember, the season was shut down after only a few days of filming due to an incident that occurred between contestants Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson. However, they were able to continue filming after a few weeks, but we’ll never forget about “The Shutdown 2017.”
Bachelor Season 20: Ben Higgins
Ben may be the most beloved Bachelor star of all time, and this season perfectly shows why he’s America’s sweetheart. It’s so clear his heart is in the right place and that he’s not just after Instagram followers, and his struggle in deciding who to end up with is downright heartbreaking. Not to mention, he has an utterly fantastic group of women. Watch this season just to see the fan favorites such as Becca Tilley, JoJo Fletcher, Lauren Bushnell, Amanda Stanton, and so many others.
Bachelor Pad Season 1
Season 1 of Bachelor Pad was revolutionary when it debuted back in 2010. Former Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants competing for money? Count us in! Watch this season just to see how the dynamics of the show play out.
Bachelorette Season 11: Kaitlyn Bristowe
Kaitlyn is happily in a relationship with fellow Bachelor Nation star Jason Tartick — who was a contestant on Becca’s season — but that doesn’t mean you should skip her season of The Bachelorette. Her season was full of drama (Nick Viall joining mid-season is just the tip of the iceberg) and she was such a fun leading lady.
Bachelor Season 21: Nick Viall
Call us crazy, but Nick had one of the best Bachelor seasons of all time. Not only was he a fantastic Bachelor, but his group of women was also absolutely stellar. He, of course, had the likes of Rachel Lindsey, Raven Gates, and Vanessa Grimaldi, but who could ever forget Corinne Olympios? In fact, watch this season for Corrine alone.
