A Main Cast Member Will Die
It’s been a long time since a major cast member has passed away — RIP Derek Shepherd — so it’s time for another death to hit Grey Sloan Memorial hospital. While it probably won’t be Meredith or Alex (though we can’t make any promises), it could be someone who’s been on the show for awhile, like Jackson or Owen.
DeLuca and Meredith Will Get Married
Call us crazy, but there’s a chance Meredith and DeLuca will tie the knot this season. We can see it being a spur of the moment decision — and probably prompted by DeLuca — that will end up crashing and burning.
A Major Former Cast Member Will Return
There are so many OG cast members who we’d love to see return, but our money is on Callie Torres. Not only is Callie beloved and such a fan favorite, but we need to know if she’s back with Arizona! Whether it’s Callie or not, we truly believe someone will be coming back.
Maggie Will Get Pregnant
This is a big swing, we know, but we’re calling it — Maggie’s getting knocked up this season! Fans are hoping for a JoLex baby, but the writers may pull a fast one on us and give Maggie the baby storyline instead.
Someone Will Get Fired… For Real
Yes, Meredith, Alex, and Webber were all “fired” last season, but we know they’re all going to be returning to work one way or another. However, we do believe someone this season will actually get fired and leave the show for good.
Webber Will Fall Off The Wagon
We don’t want to see this happen and pray it doesn’t, but there’s a chance Webber could break his sobriety this season. He’s been through so much, including Catherine’s cancer diagnosis, and so we wouldn’t be surprised if he fell off the wagon again.
The Season 16 premiere of Grey’s Anatomy is right around the corner — Thursday, September 26, to be exact — which means we’ll finally be reunited with our favorite Seattle doctors.
But, like all great Grey’s seasons, we’ll have to buckle up for a wild ride full of heartbreak, drama, makeups, breakups, and everything in between.
