‘Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage’: See the Stars Behind the Scenes Filming Season 3
Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage Season 3 filming is in full swing at CBS as the stars get back to set for the Young Sheldon spinoff.
While the comedy may not return to TV screens until early October, fans are getting a peek behind the curtain as live tapings resumed on Tuesday, August 4. For those unable to attend filming sessions in person, though, the cast is offering their own glimpses behind the scenes as they share photos on social media.
As fans will recall, Season 2 of the series set in The Big Bang Theory universe saw Georgie (Montana Jordan) at an impasse with his mother, Mary Cooper (Zoe Perry), when he discovered the blossoming relationship between her and his work nemesis, Freddie Fagenbacher (Matt Letscher). Georgie went so far as to deny Mary the opportunity to see his baby daughter if she continued the friendship, leaving the family fractured.
Meanwhile, the McAllisters — his mother-in-law Audrey (Rachel Bay Jones) in particular — embraced Georgie.
Will that divide continue to plague Georgie and Mary’s mother-son relationship as we head into Season 3? Only time will tell, but small glimpses from behind the scenes offer fans some perspective on where the latest chapter is heading.

Will Sasso, who plays Mandy’s (Emily Osment) father, Jim, walks fans around behind-the-scenes in a video shared by the show’s official account. The action is ultimately turned to his face before the video concludes.
Sasso’s sneak peek also teases a glimpse at Osment and Jones during rehearsals.
Meanwhile, Osment shared this black-and-white mirror selfie to celebrate her return to set.
And Jessie Prez, who plays Georgie’s reluctant coworker Ruben, teased his return with this selfie sporting his mechanic uniform.
