At the encouragement of host Chris Harrison, the couple rushed into an engagement. Five months later and they’ve split for good amid cheating allegations. Dale confirmed the breakup to the press — apparently without Clare’s knowledge. Clare posted on Instagram: “The truth is I am crushed. This was not what I expected or hoped for and am still trying to process this.”

Season 23
Colton Underwood fell for dark horse contestant Cassie Randolph, but not without a few hiccups. Cassie first left the series due to cold feet, then returned to get the final rose…and not a proposal.
