Which ‘Bachelorette’ Couples Are Still Together?

The Bachelorette is back for its 20th season with Charity Lawson the latest Bachelorette, searching for love on the ABC dating show. We first met her on The Bachelor in Season 27, with Zach Shallcross. Fans fell in love with Charity’s kind-hearted personality and she quickly became a fan-favorite. Charity and Zach’s relationship lasted up until week 8, when Shallcross heartbreakingly let her go. It was then announced she would be the Bachelorette, and fans of the franchise were very pleased to hear this. The child and family therapist began her reign on Monday June 26, and so far it’s looking like she has a good group of guys to choose from!

With Season 20 heating up, let’s take a journey through the show’s past, and see which couples are still together and what former Bachelorettes are up to today.

Relationship Status: Married

Trista was the original Bachelorette back in 2003. At the end of her season, the former Miami Heat dancer ended up with the handsome Ryan Sutter. The two have been married for nineteen years and have two kids. Recently her iconic televised wedding was the topic of two episodes on Bachelor Nation alums, Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s, podcast “Almost Famous.” She keeps fans updated on her Instagram with regular posts about Ryan and her family.

Relationship Status: Broken Up

The second Bachelorette was a contestant on the fourth season of The Bachelor but was not chosen by Bachelor Bob Guiney. In her season, she ended up engaged to Ian McKee. However, the couple split in 2005. In 2011 she married her high school sweetheart. So, in the end she did get her happily-ever-after.

Jen was a contestant on the third season of The Bachelor, where she eventually got engaged to Bachelor Andrew Firestone. In 2003 the couple decided to amicably split, and Jen was chosen to become the season three Bachelorette. In the finale she ended up rejecting both of the final men. Jerry Ferris was the only one who got to propose, but she rejected him because she felt they had no chemistry. In 2009 she ended up getting married to Joe Waterman. The couple has two daughters. She currently hosts “From the Bachelor to the Burbs” Podcast.

After a heartbreaking breakup with Bachelor Brad Womack, DeAnna was chosen to become the fourth Bachelorette. She got engaged to snowboarder Jesse Csincsak, however the couple split six months before the wedding. DeAnna met her future husband through one of the contestants on the following season of The Bachelorette. The couple got married in 2011 and have two children. In January, DeAnna announced on social media that couple had decided to separate.

Jillian was a contestant on season thirteen of The Bachelor but was second runner up. She became the fifth Bachelorette (and first Canadian Bachelorette!) and ended her season getting engaged to Ed Swiderski. Turns out Swiderski had a couple other girls on the side, and the pair split in 2010. She currently has a long-term partner and has two children with him. She was a host for Canadian television show Love It or List It: Vancouver. She is currently a small business coach, and the owner of a business herself.

Fedotowsky was a contestant on season fourteen of The Bachelor, however she decided to pull out in week six. On her season of The Bachelorette, she became engaged to Roberto Martinez. The couple split in 2011. In 2017 she married Kevin Manno, and the couple has two kids. In 2020 she revealed that she was diagnosed with basal cell carcinoma. She had the cancer removed and made a full recovery. She is the co-founder of the hydration company 1to3 Life.

After being eliminated in week nine of the fifteenth season of The Bachelor, Hebert was announced as the seventh Bachelorette. She ended the season engaged to JP Rosenbaum, and the couple married on a live TV special on December 16, 2012. The couple has two kids. In 2020 the pair announced their permanent separation. Ashley is a board-certified Pediatric Dentist and runs her own practice.

In the fifteenth season of The Bachelor, Emily got engaged to Brad Womack. Talk about Deja-vu! However, the pair broke up and Emily went on to be the leading lady of season eight. Maynard and Holm were engaged at the end of the season yet split a few months later. In 2014 she married Tyler M. Johnson and had five kids with him. Emily was the first Bachelorette to be a single mother, after her fiancé passed in a plane crash before their daughter was born. She revealed that her youngest son was born with Down Syndrome. In 2016 she published a memoir entitled I Said Yes: My Story of Heartbreak, Redemption, and True Love.

After saying goodbye to Drew Kenney earlier in the week, Desiree confessed her love to Siegfried at their gorgeous proposal. She was heartbroken by Brooks Forester suddenly leaving; however, she knew deep in her heart Chris was the one for her. Desiree currently runs her own bridal company called Desiree Hartsock Bridal. She is the host of the podcast “Do You See?” which covers topics about Christianity. Her and Siegfried have been married for eight years and have two sons.

She is very outspoken about her love for running and started a running apparel company called Andorfins. She has also published two books.

Kaitlyn had an interesting start to her season. The men were to vote between her and Britt Nilsson, to choose who would become Bachelorette. Eventually, Kaitlyn was chosen to be the Bachelorette, and she went on to be engaged to personal trainer Shawn Booth. The couple stayed together until 2018, when they announced their separation. She is currently engaged to Bachelor Nation alum Jason Tartick. Bristowe is the host of the podcast “Off the Vine.” She founded the wine company Spade & Sparrows. She won the Mirrorball trophy on season twenty-nine of Dancing with the Stars.

It was clear throughout JoJo’s incredible season, that Jordan was the one. Arguably one of the most emotional proposals in the series, Jordan and JoJo truly expressed their undying love to one another. After five years of being engaged, and their wedding being postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the two finally tied the knot in 2022. The couple hosts a few TV shows together including: The Big D and Cash Pad. JoJo cofounded the company Saint Spritz, which sells Aperol spritzes in a can. The couple recently celebrated their one-year anniversary.

Attorney Rachel Lindsay made Bachelor franchise history by becoming the first African American Bachelorette. The couple’s proposal was beautiful, and Bryan’s speech to her was lovely. The couple got married two years after the season ended and are celebrating their fourth anniversary this August! Rachel is the cohost of “Higher Learning” with Van Lathan, and the host of “Morally Corrupt a Show on All Things Bravo.” She is the author of two books, as well.

Becca ended season twenty-two of The Bachelor engaged to Arie Luyendyk Jr. However, Arie broke off the engagement to pursue a relationship with Laurn Burnham, the runner-up. After this heartbreaking breakup, Becca went on to become the fourteenth Bachelorette. She and Garrett were engaged at the end of the season; however, the pair ended their engagement in 2020. On Bachelor in Paradise, she started a relationship with Thomas Jacobs. The two announced their engagement in 2022 and are expecting their first child in September. She founded the sparkling wine company Bourdon. She was also the former host of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast.

Arguably one of the biggest upsets in Bachelorette history, “Alabama” Hannah Brown chose aspiring musician Jed Wyatt at the end of her season. With fans heavily rooting for the handsome Tyler Cameron. However, it was revealed that Wyatt had a girlfriend during the time of filming. He also used the show as a way to promote his music. Brown and Cameron decided to try again at a relationship, but ultimately the pair decided to be friends. Brown won season twenty-eight of Dancing with the Stars. She is currently dating Adam Woolard.

This season was quite the odd one. Crawley became the oldest Bachelorette and decided to end her journey after the fourth episode. She instantly fell for contestant Dale Moss. The couple was on and off until September 2021. In February she married Ryan Dawkins. She currently focuses her time on her hair salon and wellness company.

After Crawley’s early departure, Adams was chosen as her replacement. The remaining men went on to compete for her love, but only one won her heart. Tayshia and Zac were engaged at the end of the season, however the pair broke it off in 2021. Tayshia was the co-host of the seventh and eighteenth seasons of The Bachelorette, alongside former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe. She is currently a content creator and fashion and lifestyle Influencer.

Katie made a mark during her season due to her great sense of humor. She became Bachelorette after being eliminated during season twenty-five of The Bachelor. At the end of her season, Blake Moynes proposed to her and she accepted. However, the pair broke it off a few months later. She announced, one month after the breakup, that she and former contestant on her season, John Hersey, were dating. The couple broke up in 2022. She is currently pursuing a career in comedy.

The elementary school teacher was featured in season twenty-five of The Bachelor, however, was the runner-up. She went on to star in The Bachelorette and became engaged to Nayte Olukoya at the end of her season. The couple split up after a year of engagement. Young focuses her time on content creating and social media influencing.

This was another unusual season, since there were two Bachelorettes leading the show at the same time. Gabby ended up choosing real estate analyst Eric Schwer. The pair broke it off a few months later. Windey went on season thirty-one of Dancing with the Stars and was runner-up. She continued dancing with most her DWTS castmates during the DWTS tour.

Rachel was the second half of the Bachelorette duo. Her part of the season ended with Franco proposing and her accepting. During the After the Final Rose special she revealed they had ended the engagement due to Franco cheating on her. Runner-up Aven Jones decided to take his chance and ask Rachel on a date. Ultimately, the pair decided to not pursue a relationship. The two Bachelorettes, however, have a strong friendship. So, at least something special came out of this season!
