It should have been Sophie Pecora that went through instead of Ansley. She is pure, raw talent, singing from her heart and soul. Ansley is cute and precocious, but she was often tonally flat. She also feels like she's performing for attention instead of out of her life for music.
Alex Dowis was good at what he does, but I would never want to sit through an hour of it. I can't see it carrying a Vegas show. Carmen Carter should have gone through instead of Alex.
Of course, none of that matters. After the world's slowest and most boring magician won last year, it became clear that it's not really about finding the most talented, but rather the producers' favorites.
