According to Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller, far left), his rich and controlling father is akin to Satan. Elementary fans can judge for themselves when Morland (John Noble) arrives in New York, ostensibly to check on his son, who recently suffered an addiction relapse. Of course, we suspect that Daddy Dearest, a consultant to multinationals and various governments, has other motives. “We had John in mind early on [for the part],” says creator Rob Doherty. “He can play a genius convincingly, and he’s very nimble with humor. I even see a resemblance between John and Jonny!”
