Gerald McRaney’s Return
This Is Us fans should set their DVRs this fall to catch their favorite doc Gerald McRaney (aka Dr. K) reprise his role on CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles. According to Entertainment Weekly, the actor, who appeared in a Season 6 episode of the popular procedural, will return as retired Navy Admiral Hollace Kilbride in the Season 10 premiere.
The Walking Dead Brings New Life to Season 9
Castle Rock‘s Cassady McClincy has been cast in a well-known role from The Walking Dead comics for the show’s ninth season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, McClincy will play Lydia, a member of The Whisperers (and a love interest for Carl in the comics). However, since Chandler Riggs exited the show last season, the path Lydia will take seems less certain.
Get Ready for The Haunting of Hill House
Based on the book by the same title, The Haunting of Hill House is the re-imagining of Shirley Jackson’s classic, following siblings who grew up in the country’s most famous haunted house. When their youngest sister commits suicide, the family must reunite and face the ghosts of their past, both psychological and physical. Netflix has set a premiere date for the highly-anticipated series: Friday, October 12.
The Resident‘s New Face
Fans of Fox’s medical drama The Resident will be meeting a new character when Season 2 premieres: Revolution‘s Daniella Alonso will appear in a recurring role, TV Line reports. The actress, who has also appeared in shows like Animal Kingdom and The Night Shift, will play Zoey Barlow, a single mother of two adopted children ailing from chronic illnesses. Alonso is set to recur in multiple episodes throughout the season, after the series returns Monday, September 24.
