The Sandlot, a film that has transcended generations of those who love the game of baseball, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.

FOX Sports Films and Major League Baseball commemorate the ’90s classic with Legends Never Die: The Sandlot Story, a documentary retrospective directed by David Terry Fine and produced by Matador Content.

The film makes its network TV debut tonight immediately following Fox Sports 1’s coverage of the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Milwaukee Brewers game, at approximately 10/9c.

Legends Never Die: The Sandlot Story features exclusive interviews with the The Sandlot writer/director David Mickey Evans and members of the original cast as they discuss how the film came to be, reflect on memories from select scenes and give insight as to why this is story continues to resonate with viewers today. The documentary is also highlighted by original, behind-the-scenes videos and interviews from The Sandlot set, as well as cameos from athletes and pop-culture icons.
