Go Behind the Scenes of the ‘Murphy Brown’ Revival (PHOTOS)
Everything old is new again!
The cast of the revived Murphy Brown is hard at work filming and series star Candice Bergen shared photos on social media from the new (old) sitcom set.
It looks like not much has changed since the show’s original run from 1988 to 1998…
Murphy still lives in her townhouse, but it does have fresh coat of paint and a few new pictures.
Like the addition of the “tired-ass honky ho” pillow.
The cast sat down for its first table read last week in New York.
Murphy is back as a prominent TV journalist, dealing with the current political environment. Son Avery (Jake McDorman) is also a news person and the two may have some competing, conflicting views.
Much of the original cast and crew is returning, as well, including Faith Ford (Corky Sherwood), Joe Regalbuto (Frank Fontana), Grant Shaud (Miles Silverberg), and executive producer/creator Diane English.
