Fore! A premier international golf tournament provides some relief from the fall football frenzy:

Presidents Cup Golf
Held every other year, the Presidents Cup is a match-play tournament pitting the U.S. Team against the International Team consisting of the world’s best non-European players. This year’s tournament will be held from Sept. 28–Oct. 1 at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, with Golf Channel and NBC pairing up to air the tournament beginning Sept. 28, 1/noon c, on Golf Channel.

Steve Stricker is the U.S. captain, and he’ll have Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Rickie Fowler and Brooks Koepka among the top players in his lineup. For the International Team, captain Nick Price’s group will include Hideki Matsuyama, Jason Day, Adam Scott, Louis Oosthuizen, Marc Leishman and Charl Schwartzel contending for a much-needed victory in the series. The U.S. Team has dominated the Presidents Cup with a 9-1-1 rec­ord, including a win in South Korea in 2015.

College Football
