Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran Lead VMA Nominations
The MTV Video Music Award nominations have arrived and rising rap heavyweight Kendrick Lamar has come out on top with 13 nods. His “Bad Blood” collaborator and newly minted pop superstar Taylor Swift has shook her way to the second highest amount with nine nods. Her pal Ed Sheeran came in third with six nominations, followed by five nods each for Beyoncé and the pairing of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars.
While performances for the big night have yet to be announced, Twerk Queen Miley Cyrus revealed on Instagram Monday night that she will be hosting the ceremony, airing August 30 at 9/8c.
