Billboard Music Awards (Sunday, May 17, LIVE 8/7c, ABC)

The BBMA’s consistently bring us two things: Lots o’ Music and Star Power. This year at the awards ceremony, which is airing live from Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, we can expect those two things, and so much more. Co-hosted by Ludacris and Chrissy Teigen (which is the only time you’ll see these two together because Luda downright refuses to appear on Spike TV’s Lip Sync Battle for her), this year’s BBMAs will be honoring music’s biggest and brightest. There will be performances by Mariah Carey, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Van Halen, a special duet from Empire‘s Jussie Smollett and Bryshere “Yazz” Gray with Estelle, Britney Spears & Iggy Azalea, and more.

Plus, we all know the real reason anyone is watching is to see the show’s opening, which will be Taylor Swift’s world premiere of her video for “Bad Blood.” The highly anticipated vid will feature a plethora of powerful names including: Ellen Pompeo (The Grey’s Anatomy star Swift named her cat after), Disney Channel star Zendaya, Ellie Goulding, Lena Dunham, Kendrick Lamar, Karlie Kloss, and Jessica Alba.
