Jeff Dunham is bringing his dummies to NBC.

The comedian/ventriloquist will star in the upcoming NBC special Jeff Dunham: Unhinged in Hollywood, set to air Thursday, Sept. 17 at 8/7c.

Unhinged in Hollywood will be taped on Aug. 19 at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre. Guests include country music star Brad Paisley, comedian Chris Parnell and former UFC champ Chuck Liddell.

Dunham has produced most of his specials for Comedy Central, including last season’s Jeff Dunham: All Over the Map. He also starred in Comedy Central’s The Jeff Dunham Show.

At NBC, his appearances include a guest spot on 30 Rock.

“NBC has been very good to me over the years,” Dunham said. “It’s a true honor to have a special on the network. Walter [Dunham’s curmudgeonly old man character] said he’s looking forward to performing again in the showbiz/divorce capital of the world.”

Besides Walter, Dunham’s characters include “Achmed the Dead Terrorist.” Unhinged in Hollywood will also be released as a Blu-ray and DVD later this year.

Dunham is one of the world’s top-grossing comedians, having sold more than 7 million DVDs and generated more than 1 billion views on YouTube.
