AMC Renews ‘Better Call Saul’ for Season 4
S’all good, Better Call Saul fans. On Tuesday, AMC announced the hit Breaking Bad prequel would return for a fourth season, as the convergence of the two shows’ storylines marches onward.
Though the renewal was all but a given—averaging 3.6 million viewers per episode, Saul is the third highest-rated cable drama among adults 25-54 (AMC’s The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead take the top spots)—the confirmation still brings a sigh of relief from fans, especially in the wake of Saul‘s jaw-dropping Season 3 finale.
Already devastated by Chuck’s (Michael McKean) last verbal take-down (and plotting the “new business model” we already know is coming), how will Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) react when he discovers it was also his final interaction with his brother? How will Kim (Rhea Seehorn) emerge from “Relax-a-thon 2003”? Since Howard (Patrick Fabian) made good on Chuck’s demands—before it all literally went up in flames—have we seen the last of HHM? And what’s next for Nacho (Michael Mando) and Gus (Giancarlo Esposito) now that Hector’s in the not-so-scary condition Breaking Bad fans knew was coming?

Better Call Saul Season 4 will premiere in 2018 on AMC.
