Do you have what it takes to go head to head with a Super Bowl winning football player or a celebrated Olympic athlete? Fox’s new one hour special Beat the Champions tests the athletic prowess of everyday Americans by pitting them against professional sports figures for a chance to win $100,000. Four-time Olympic gold medalist Missy Franklin, New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski and NBA superstar Scottie Pippen leave it all out on the playing field in this adrenaline-fueled competition. But to make things easier for the contestants, they will have the opportunity to receive help if they need it, while the pros will face a number of outrageous and hilarious handicaps during their challenges to slow their dominance. But the more assistance a contestant needs, the less money they will be awarded. Let the games begin!
