NCAA Final Four (Saturday, April 4, 6/5c, TBS)

A lot of March Madness’ first- and second-round games were snoozers. You had the occasional blowout, too, like Kentucky’s utter humiliation of West Virginia in the Sweet 16. But last week’s Elite 8 matchups provided a lovely/brutal shot in the arm, and tonight’s Final Four games—#7 Michigan State vs. #1 Duke (tipping off at 6:09 p.m./ET) and #1 Wisconsin vs. #1 Kentucky (40 minutes after the first game ends)—promise a level of play several orders of magnitude above what we’ve seen. (The two winners play for the national title Monday night on CBS.)

If Kentucky somehow pulls off another last-second win, though, the NCAA might want to investigate whether coach John Calipari made some kind of deal with the Devil.
