Animal Planet to Flip Ships with Edwin McCain
Did you know musician Edwin McCain (yes, “I’ll Be” Edwin McCain) has a ship restoration business called Boats Have Souls? Well, now you do, and TV Insider brings you the exclusive news that Animal Planet, in keeping with its current “shows about people building things” bent, will premiere the six-part Flipping Ships, which follows McCain and his nautical fixer-upper crew as they restore should-be wrecks to their former glory, on April 24 (10/9c). The first episode even has McCain working on a “Rock-n-Roll” speedboat for Darius “Don’t Call Me Hootie” Rucker to auction off for charity, as seen in the exclusive photo below.
