The Netflix/Marvel cinematic universe gets one superhero bigger with the series debut of martial arts expert Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist (Finn Jones, top picture). His unique power, if you haven’t guessed, is having an iron fist. Once thought dead, Danny is now back in New York City to reclaim control of his family’s company. The challenge: balancing his 9-to-5 with fighting world-ending evil. Dude, we all got problems.

Season Premiere
Season 2, Friday, March 10, Netflix

Oddball Southern California couple Gus (Paul Rust) and Mickey (Gillian Jacobs) return in this comedy from Judd Apatow. He’s still the dorky nice guy. She’s still the loud wild child. They’re still in blossoming young love. Not that they’ve gotten any better at it, or at navigating life’s trials and tribulations in general. This season, their big obstacle is commitment, which can be as nerve-racking as it is reassuring.

The final chapter of this religious psychological thriller begins with corrupt judge Pernell Harris (Ron Perlman) and his wife, Crystal (Dana Delany), paying for last season’s sins. His penance: being on trial for a murder he didn’t physically commit (it’s complicated). Hers: going slowly crazy while trying to protect their philandering dead son’s legacy.

Fraternity hazing never ends well. Set at an all-black college during Hell Week, this Sundance Film Festival drama follows freshman Zurich (Trevor Jackson), who, despite special attention from a concerned professor (Alfre Woodard), decides to join a fraternity. Well, tries to join a fraternity. Let’s just say that by Friday the broken rib he gets in the process and the can of dog food he’s forced to eat are the least of his problems.
