‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest’ Will Stream Live for the First Time Ever

It’s hard to believe that in two short months, the world will be ringing in a new year. Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest will be back for another year, and this time fans can watch the ball drop live even if they don’t have broadcast TV.

For the first time ever, Rockin’ Eve will simulcast live on both ABC and Disney+, according to a press release. In the past, fans could watch it on ABC or ABC.com, or clips on the special’s official YouTube channel.

Last year’s special reached 45.8 million Total Viewers across the night, which made it the most co-viewed entertainment special on broadcast TV last year. Here is everything we know about Dick Clark‘s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest 2027.

When does Rockin’ Eve air?

Every year, the special airs on December 31 to count down to the new year.  Festivities kick off at 8/7c and go until 4a/3c.

Rockin’ Eve will air on ABC and Disney+ at the same time this year.

Who is hosting the special?

Ryan Seacrest will be back as the main host. He will be joined by Rita Ora in New York’s Times Square. Julianne Hough and Rob Gronkowski will return to Las Vegas, Nevada, to host the West Coast countdown. Comedian Druski will host in Chicago for the first time to countdown the Central Time Zone. 

Seacrest, who began cohosting the program in 2005, also serves as executive producer. He took over as the sole host after Clark’s passing in 2012.

Who is performing on Rockin’ Eve 2027?

The list of performers has not yet been announced. The program celebrates the year’s very best in music, and promises a night of superstar performances. Check back here for updates.
