‘9-1-1: Nashville’ Crossover Preview: Ryan Calls Buck for Help

It looks like the 113 is going to be very glad that Buck (Oliver Stark) and Eddie (Ryan Guzman) came down to Nashville for the firefighter games last year — they’ll be going one of them for help in the Thursday, October 22, episode of 9-1-1: Nashville! And it goes all the way back to the very first episode of 9-1-1.

In the promo, Ryan (Michael Provost) FaceTimes Buck, who immediately tells him, “Kind of busy right now.” Ryan gets it because “the volcano thing?” Buck confirms yes. The 9-1-1 Season 10 premiere ended with a volcano erupting in the middle of Los Angeles, following a series of odd calls. But the 113 also has a pressing matter.

“We got a baby stuck in a wall,” Ryan explains, and that’s when Chimney (Kenneth Choi) chimes in with, “Another pipe baby? No way.”

The rest of the preview, which you can watch above, offers look at the plagues continuing to, well, plague Music City, and it’s actually something else that Buck knows about: boils.

“This guy has a God complex, and he wants revenge,” Rogue (Ryan Phillippe) says of the one behind the calamities. That person even calls Cammie (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) and warns, “There’s nowhere to hide from me.” And with the concern that he could be going after them, it may be a good thing that Blythe (Jessica Capshaw) has a gun.

Don, Chris O’Donnell tells TV Insider, at first thinks, “You’re nuts to have this conspiracy theory and these are just coincidences.” However, “As the season rolls on here, we’ll see that there might be a little bit more to it and that maybe Rogue’s not completely crazy here because there seems to be a series of disasters that are plaguing the city, so to speak.”
