A brand-new generation of Hollywood Arts students has stepped into the spotlight in the new Victorious spinoff, and we are already eager for more! Following the 12-episode debut of Hollywood Arts, Daniella Monet sat down with TV Insider to reveal what is to come for the rest of the season, which will total 26 episodes, as well as her hopes for a potential Season 2.
During Season 1 so far, viewers have been reunited with Monet as Trina Vega, Yvette Nicole Brown as Principal Helen Dubois, Eric Lange as Sikowitz, and Matt Bennett as Robbie Shapiro. Looking forward to the rest of the season, Monet confirmed that there will be “more romance [and] more returning cast members.”
In the first 12 episodes, Hollywood Arts revealed that Robbie has a lingering crush on Trina, which is finally reciprocated, even though he’s moving away. Though we don’t see Tori (Victoria Justice), it’s clear that Trina is still incredibly close with her sister, who’s made it big as a singer.

“There’s a lot to still uncover about the relationship between Trina and Tori,” Monet revealed. “I think we’ve definitely alluded to [their] dynamic, and there’s a sweet moment where you can hear that she has her sister in her corner. Hopefully, at some point, Tori can lean on Trina, [too].”
While it’s clear that more Season 1 episodes are on the way, Monet told TV Insider that she would be “more than open” to returning as Trina for Season 2, which is good, because we’d be more than open to watching many more seasons. “This has been a dream experience,” she confessed. “We’ve got a dynamic that I’ve never even worked with. [It’s] so special, so supportive. Everyone’s seen, heard, loved, respected, and it gives this really nice work dynamic that I think allows for us to just lean into the story and the characters and have a lot more full expression of that. So I think there’s just so much more to explore.”

As for what fans can expect for a potential second season, Monet revealed one hope she has for the future of the show. She shared, “I think there’s an itch that I need to scratch in terms of some bigger performances for Trina. Our choreographer, Ryan Maw, is incredible and has some really fun ideas, one of them being this entire musical world,” similar to that of High School Musical.
