HGTV’s Brian & Mika Kleinschmidt Celebrate Sweet Relationship Anniversary

Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt have been married longer than they have been one of HGTV‘s power couples.

The duo made their HGTV debut in 2020 with the premiere of their flagship home renovation series, 100 Day Dream Home. Brian and Mika have appeared on several of the network’s shows together over the years, including Home Town Kickstart, Barbie Dreamhouse Challenge, Rock the Block, Totally ’90s House, and the spinoff 100 Day Hotel Challenge.

The couple tied the knot five years before 100 Day Dream Home premiered. On Saturday, October 10, Brian and Mika each took to social media to celebrate their milestone 11th wedding anniversary.

“Happy 11th Anniversary to my best friend, incredible husband, and amazing bonus dad!” Mika wrote in a sweet tribute to her husband. “Forever grateful God brought us together at just the right time. Here’s to 11 beautiful years and a lifetime of adventures still to come!”

Mika’s post featured several photos of herself and Brian over the years, as well as him with her daughter, Jade. (Mika shares her only child with a previous partner.)

HGTV stars and fans flooded the comments with anniversary wishes. “Congrats you two,” wrote Scott McGillivray, while Bryan Baeumler shared several festive emojis. Ty Pennington posted, “Happy Anniversary!!!”

One fan wrote, “Happy Anniversary to you both. A great couple.” Another added, “Happy Anniversary. May you be blessed with many more happy & healthy years together.” Someone else shared, “Happiest of anniversaries to y’all! I [love] watching y’all work together on HGTV. Y’all are THE best.”

In his own Instagram anniversary tribute, Brian listed everything Mika means to him. “Happy Anniversary to: My High School Crush. My Dream Girl. My Wife. My Life. My Co-Host. My Co-Pilot. My Business Partner. My Teammate. My Best Friend. My Duet Partner. My Rock. My Ride Or Die. My Open Ear. My Confidante. My Mama. My Person. My Everything. My Forever. MY MIKA!” he wrote.

Taniya Nayak commented, “Happy anniversary!! Hope two you can squeeze in a celebration date night!” Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama posted “Happy Anny!” Vern Yip said, “Happy Anniversary! Wishing you both a lifetime more of complete bliss!” Mike Jackson and Sabrina Soto also wished the couple a “Happy Anniversary” in the comments.

Long before their wedding or TV fame, Brian and Mika met as high school classmates. Though the pair never dated as teenagers, they reconnected as adults years later. While Mika welcomed Jade with an ex, Brian got married and divorced from his ex-wife, Ericka Dunlap.

Brian and Mika recently announced they’re returning as competitors for Season 8 of Rock the Block, which will premiere on HGTV next year. The Season 2 winners will go up against McGillivray and Mina Starsiak Hawk, Paige Davis and Carter Oosterhouse, and Sabrina Soto and Anthony Carrino.
