Billy Bush Joins Fox News as Contributor

Billy Bush has joined Fox News as a contributor, the network announced on Tuesday (September 22). He will make his debut on Tuesday’s Jesse Watters Primetime.

In a statement, Bush said of the news, “I’m excited to join Fox News Media and its loyal audience to share my perspective on the people, ideas, and moments shaping today’s culture…. as well as the ones trying to undo it!”

Bush was famously fired from Today during the 2016 presidential election cycle after the 2005 Access Hollywood recording of himself with Donald Trump surfaced. In it, Trump was heard describing an attempt to seduce a married woman and saying that he might attempt to kiss her, adding, “I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab ’em by the p***y. You can do anything.”

Prior to that, Bush’s career began in radio, hosting shows in New Hampshire and then Washington, D.C. He also hosted Let’s Make a Deal and served as a correspondent for Today in New York. His tenure at Access Hollywood as correspondent lasted from 2001 to 2004 before he moved back to radio to host The Billy Bush Show. He cohosted Access Hollywood Live from 2010 to 2016 and was named cohost of Today‘s third hour in May 2016 before his firing over the Trump tape scandal. For NBC, he also provided coverage of the Olympics and Prince William‘s royal wedding.

Bush went on to host Extra in 2019 and left the show in 2025 to focus on his podcast, Hot Mics With Billy Bush, in which he covers current events and entertainment topics.

According to Fox News, Bush’s new role at the network will be as contributor, and he will appear across all platforms. He is expected to “offer cultural analysis across the network’s programming.”
