‘Fire Country’ & ‘Sheriff Country’ Crossover Details: Mickey & Manny Teaming up & More
What To Know
- Fire Country and its spinoff Sheriff Country will feature a crossover event on November 6.
- Morena Baccarin and Sheriff showrunner Matt Lopez share details about the two-parter.
Not only is the world of Edgewater possibly expanding soon, with Noah Reid guest-starring on Sheriff Country as a doc at the hospital, but Fire Country and its spinoff will be crossing over once again, earlier this season than last, for a two-parter on November 6.
During CBS’s virtual press day for the upcoming fall season, the stars and executive producers offered a tease about what to expect in those episodes. And don’t worry: There will apparently be more from firefighter Bode Leone (Max Thieriot) and deputy Nathan Boone (Matt Lauria) after they became a fun buddy cop duo last season.
“It’s a very fun crossover, actually,” Morena Baccarin, who plays Sheriff Mickey Fox, says. “We all got to work with different people. I mean, I think Boone and Bode are still — I got to pair up quite a bit with Kevin Alejandro, which was super fun.”

Adds Sheriff Country showrunner Matt Lopez, “Yeah, there were folks who were not involved in last year’s crossover who are this season. So you can look for Cassidy Campbell [Michele Weaver] and Jake [Jordan Calloway] from Fire Country figures. Yeah, it’s a good mix.”
Baccarin also promises “fun guest stars.”
The two-parter kicks off on Sheriff Country with “No Way In,” in which, “When a dangerous prison break escalates into a volatile hostage crisis, Sheriff Mickey Fox (Morena Baccarin) must make a high-stakes decision with personal consequences that could change the course of the case and put lives on the line.” In addition to Alejandro, Max Thieriot and Jules Latimer (Eve) will guest star from Fire.
Then, on Fire Country‘s hour, titled “No Way Out,” CBS teases, “When escaped convicts trigger a dangerous manhunt, Bode (Thieriot) and the Station 42 crew join forces with Sheriff Mickey Fox and her deputies to protect their loved ones and the community caught in the crossfire.” In addition to Baccarin, Lauria, and Weaver, Amanda Arcuri and Ian Quinlan from Sheriff will cross over.
