East of Eden has all the makings of an epic TV experience. More than 70 years after John Steinbeck‘s classic 1952 novel was first adapted for the big screen, Netflix is bringing the multigenerational story to life in a new limited series. Oscar nominee Florence Pugh leads the show as Cathy Ames. On September 2, less than a month before the show’s release, Netflix revealed the official trailer and new photos of the adaptation.
