‘ESPN Jeopardy!’ Renewed for Season 2 With Joe Buck — and a Major Contestant Change
Sports fans and Jeopardy! aficionados have reason to celebrate: ESPN Jeopardy! is officially returning for Season 2, but the competition is going to look very different this time around.
After debuting its first season on July 31, the sports spinoff will return on Disney+, Hulu, and the ESPN App, with Monday Night Football broadcaster Joe Buck back as host.
The biggest change comes with the contestants. While Season 1 featured ESPN on-air talent and celebrities competing for charity, Season 2 will bring everyday sports fans to the Alex Trebek Stage to put their knowledge to the test.
Jeremy Schaap won Season 1 and took home $500,000 for his charity, while Jon Hamm and Kyle Brandt finished as runners-up, each earning $100,000 for their respective charities.
