‘Big Brother 28’: Kamu & Jason Get Into Argument During House Tea Party

Things are about to get heated in the July 29 episode of Big Brother. Houseguests Kamu Kirk and Jason De Puy got into a heated argument during the house tea party before the Veto ceremony.

Mallory Aurichio had planned a tea party for all of the Houseguests, including Have-Not friendly food, so everyone could participate. “I love throwing parties, so I’m so excited to throw my first-ever official tea party in the house,” Mallory said.

Houseguests got ready as Mallory set up the table with food and drinks. However, Kamu was in the HOH room, rehearsing a speech that he was prepared to give at the tea party.

As everyone grabbed their snacks, they all sat down on the outside patio furniture. Kamu was the first to speak up. “First off, I just want to say that this has been one of the coolest experiences of my life, and there is nobody else I would want to experience this with than you guys,” he said. “So, cheers to that.”

“With that said, since we’re all here as a house, I do want to address the elephant in the room, and that is the fact I’m going to have to name a fourth nominee, but there is something that I do want to address with everyone here,” he continued.

“Shortly before the nomination ceremony, I had a conversation with Jason. I offered him a deal,” Kamu revealed. He asked him that if he didn’t put him up on the block and got picked for the Veto and won it, would he allow Kamu to decide what to do with the veto?

He told him “Absolutely.” “But, after we made that agreement, several people have come up to me and said that you had made a deal with all three of the nominees that if they picked you to play in the competition, you would use the veto on them to take them down,” Kamu said.

“Right?” the MMA fighter asked. Jason nodded. Kamu nominated Mallory, Lyric Medeiros, and LaTrice Verret. 

Melody Morris said in the Diary Room that she did tell Kamu about Jason’s plan. Kamu asked Jason if he won it, if he would hold up their deal or if he would use it on LaTrice. “I don’t remember us having that conversation,” she said. Jason shrugged. “He never made a promise to me to use the veto on me.”

“Yeah, I never promised her,” Jason said.

In the Diary Room, Jason said that Kamu was trying to spill some hot tea, but he was the kettle, so he should “sit down.” “This is Big Brother, so I have to look at what’s best for me,” Jason said.

“You told me in the HOH room that the house said that Lala and I are the biggest threats of the house,” he said. This made LaTrice shrug in shock.

“Not the biggest threats. I never said biggest threats,” Kamu said.

“You all had a conversation with Kamu and said that I should go on the block,” Jason responded. “Y’all said that she [Lala] should go on the block. This is a whole group thing. Of course, I’m going to feel like s**t. I’m going to get re-nommed. That’s a very natural feeling for me to have, is it now? When everyone says I’m the big threat because I won on Blockbuster.”

“I’ve never won anything. I couldn’t even hit a ball. How am I the biggest threat?” LaTrice asked.

“So, you can’t sit here in front of everyone and make me a giant target and try to call out my game,” Jason said. Kamu tried to interrupt him, but Jason said he wasn’t done yet. “My game maybe was to lie to these three nominees to their face, so I could switch up my game and work with you guys!” His voice got louder.

In the Diary Room, Lyric said he felt bad for Jason because he was being targeted, but she didn’t want to say anything because she didn’t want to put a target on her back moving forward.
