Big Brother is always watching. Season 28 contestant Kamu Kirk has made an anti-drag remark in the house that has fans fired up. He is currently competing with Houseguest Jason de Puy, who performed as Salina EsTitties on RuPaul’s Drag Race.

During a conversation that took place over the weekend, Kamu and Survivor alum Rick Devens reacted to Houseguest Drew Campbell wearing a pair of unicorn pajamas.

While watching the HOH TV, Rick asked, “Are those dudes dressed in women’s clothes? That’s Drew dressed in women’s pajamas.”

“Bro, Drew dressed in Mallory [Aurichio]’s other unicorn pajamas,” Kamu replied. Rick laughed, shook his head, and scoffed. “There was a third pair, and I was with them, and I was like, ‘I’m not doing that, bro,” Kamu said.

“Not until Jason’s HOH,” Rick replied.

“I said miss me with the drag stuff, miss me with the women’s clothes. I’m still an MMA guy, and I have an image to uphold,” Kamu said.

“Right. That’s tough,” Rick nodded.

Drew also made a comment about how it would be funny if a straight white guy was a judge on Drag Race. Both Kamu and Survivor‘s Dee Valladares laughed at it.

Salina EsTitties competed on Season 15 of Drag Race and All-Stars 11. She placed in the bottom two four times before being eliminated. On All-Stars, she was eliminated in the sixth episode. Salina’s drag name is inspired by the late pop star Selena. Jason told his fellow Houseguests that he is a drag queen, but has not mentioned his time on the show.

Season 16 Houseguest Frankie Grande, who is part of the LGBTQ+ community and a close friend of Salina, reacted to the men’s comments on X. “Um. What the f**k is this horses**t?! Get these homophobic bigots out of the f**king house IMMEDIATELY. Both of them. Ew, this conversation makes me sick to my stomach. I’m disgusted. This better be the biggest thing ever when I wake up tomorrow, or I’m flipping a table… f**k. Ew. Gross. #bb28.”

After some criticism from his followers about coming after Rick, Grande backtracked a little. “OK. I concede there is not enough info in the clip to understand Deven’s motivations. Hopefully, he was just tapping into Kamu’s energy for game reasons. Regardless, men behaving in a repulsed or shocked way when a man dresses feminine or in women’s clothing is homophobic. Period,” he tweeted.

Fans also reacted to Kamu’s comments. “‘I’m still an MMA guy.’ Girl bye,” one X user said.

“And there it is….am I shocked? No. Am I disappointed? Absolutely,” another tweeted.

“They truly think there’s no cameras sometimes,” a third added with an eye roll emoji.

“Expected it from Kamu, but Devens is a little disappointing,” one last fan said.

However, some fans said that they didn’t think this was homophobia and think it’s OK for a man not to want to wear drag.
