MAGA-loving musician Kid Rock has revealed he often calls Donald Trump late at night after a couple of drinks just to “shoot the s***” with the president.

In an interview with Sky News Australia for the Trump’s America: 250 Years in the Making special, Rock, real name Bob Ritchie, described his relationship with the president as “f****** awesome.” The singer has been a vocal supporter of Trump for many years, visiting him at the White House and attending football games and UFC fights together.

When asked if Trump ever “randomly” texts him, Rock said he does. “It’s one of my late-night drinking tricks because I know when to get him. He’s so gracious, he always picks up, or he’ll call and check in just to shoot the s***,” he said, per Rolling Stone.

“If I’m sitting around having some beers, if it’s like 11, 12 on a Friday or Saturday, I know he’s up,” Rock explained. “He sleeps like me, he sleeps five hours.”

Rock, who headlined the Republican-affiliated alternative Super Bowl Halftime Show earlier this year, noted that his conversations with the president don’t revolve around policy.

“He’s not calling me to [ask], ‘Hey, what should we do in Iran, Bob?’ I don’t get those calls,” he shared, adding, “I enjoy the hell out of hanging out with him and talking with him and just having a front row seat to the greatest s*** show on Earth.”

Rock was also asked for his thoughts on Trump’s profits while in office. Earlier this week, the New York Times reported that the Trump family has generated $1.4 billion via their crypto business, with Trump himself pulling in at least $2.2 billion during his first year back in office.

The “American Badass” singer brushed off any concerns about conflicts of interest. When asked about Trump “making so much money” while president, Rock responded, “No s**, because he’s a f****** businessman, he’s smart. He did that before he was president, and I know his heart and soul.”
