Oh, mighty The Price Is Right fans. You might have cracked the case. In a behind-the-scenes video, fans of the game show think they uncovered who the Mighty Sound Effects Lady is.

The Mighty Sound Effects Lady is known for the game One Away. The game is played for a car, and the contestant has to determine whether the price shown on the board is one digit up or one down away from the actual price.

After they make their first selection, The Price Is Right contestant has to ask, “Oh, Mighty Sound Effects Lady, do I have at least one number right?” If a horn sound goes off, they do and can keep playing to try to switch the numbers. If they get all five numbers correct by the end, they win. However, if at any point they do not have two, three, or four numbers right, the game is over, and they walk away empty-handed.

Although popular among TPIR fans, the Mighty Sound Effects Lady has never been seen, only heard — until now. Henry Muehlhausen, the show’s broadcast mixer, took fans on a behind-the-scenes tour of how the sound works. The video was posted to the game show’s Instagram and to Dallas Taylor’s YouTube page.

After showing off the microphones around the stage, a clip of a woman, whom he called the music playback operator, was seen around the seven-minute, 30-second mark. She pointed to a square on the screen before it quickly moved on to another crew member. The women had gray hair, glasses, and a red sweater.

Fans thought that the music playback operator might be the famous Mighty Sound Effects Lady. “The Mighty Sound Effects Lady Sighting. Hey guys. I think we have a confirmed sighting of the sound effects lady. Still didn’t catch her name though. Check out this clip,” a Reddit user said.
