Fox News’ Jessica Tarlov Humiliates Jesse Watters With Epic Put Down

Jessica Tarlov had her co-hosts laughing on Monday’s (June 22) episode of The Five as she turned the tables on Jesse Watters.

The panel was discussing recent comments from California Governor Gavin Newsom, who has continued to praise former President Joe Biden in interviews. Watters threw to a clip of an interview from last year, in which Newsom called Biden “one of the most successful presidents in the last century… I will defend that to my grave.”

Co-host Dana Perino shared her thoughts on Newsom’s comments, theorizing that he’s trying to appeal to Black voters. After saying that former Vice President Kamala Harris has been “throwing Biden under the bus,” Perino noted, “Biden still has a lot of goodwill with the Black community. Gavin Newsom’s numbers with the Black community are very low. Kamala Harris’ are still fairly high, relatively high.”

She continued, “So, he is trying to figure out a way to position himself in a way that says, ‘Let me be your champion because [Harris] won’t be.'”

Watters then turned to Tarlov, saying, “I hadn’t thought about it that way. Jessica, that makes a lot of sense. Or is [it], like, blind loyalty to an idiot… does that override that?”

While a few of the panel, including Greg Gutfeld, laughed at Watters’ comments, Tarlov soon threw those words back in his face.

“Well, you do blind loyalties to an idiot every day, how does it feel?” the liberal commentator fired back. The panel erupted into laughter, including Watters, who momentarily admitted defeat.

“I’m just gonna leave, I think I’m done for the day,” Tarlov added, satisfied with her quip.

Watters then got in one last dig, saying, “That idiot’s running circles around you guys, okay?”

“Alright, whatever, let’s talk about that reflecting pool,” Tarlov shot back, referring to President Trump’s flawed renovations of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C.
