‘America’s Sweethearts’: What Is Reece Weaver Doing Now? Her Life After Quitting DCC

At the end of America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Season 3, the 2025 Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders had to decide whether they wanted to try out again or hang up their uniforms for good. With Reece Weaver being a fan-favorite on all three seasons of the Netflix docuseries, viewers anxiously waited to find out her choice. WARNING: Spoilers for America’s Sweethearts Season 3 ahead.

Reece announced to Kelli Finglass and Judy Trammell that she would not be returning for a fourth season. Getting to that point was not easy, and Reece grappled with the looming decision for weeks.

Why did Reece Weaver quit DCC?

Reece ultimately decided to leave DCC to “move onto a new chapter.” She told Kelli and Judy that it’s something she’s “really excited” about, but got emotional as she shared the news.

However, Reece said her “cup is filled to the brim” from the three years she got to be a DCC. “It’s been everything and more than I could have imagined,” she promised.

Prior to making her final decision, Reece had long talks with her husband, Will Allman, and also leaned on her faith. “The biggest pros for staying are my teammates,” she told Will in one scene. “Doing game days, doing appearances and stuff, it’s just so special.”

But what outweighed that was reaching a new point in her life and wanting to figure out what was next. “We graduated, we were engaged, we knew we were planning a wedding, I made DCC … it was like bam, bam, bam,” she explained. “And now it’s the first time I’m actually taking a breath and figuring out .. what am I doing? What is my purpose? Who is Reece? Who’s us?”

What is Reece Weaver doing now?

Due to her instant popularity on America’s Sweethearts, Reece has been able to make a living as a content creator over the last several years, and she has continued to do so since leaving the team.

In addition to sharing snippets of her life on social media, she also does various brand partnerships and attends in-person events. While a lot of Reece’s social media content started in the kitchen, she has now branched out to more fashion and lifestyle posts, including a weekly Floral Friday segment, where she makes floral arrangements for various occasions.

Is Reece Weaver still married?

Yes, Reece and Will are still married. They celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary in April, and Will often pops up in Reece’s social media posts.
