MS NOW’s Nicolle Wallace couldn’t contain her laughter on Wednesday (May 27) after playing a montage of Donald Trump‘s cabinet members heaping praise on the president during a recent meeting.

On Wednesday’s edition of Deadline: White House, Wallace aired clips from the latest Cabinet meeting, in which the administration officials, such as Pete Hegseth and Marco Rubio, showered Trump with adoration. Comments included praising the president for “settling wars” and “leading the greatest economy the world has ever known.”

Back in the studio, Wallace laughed out loud and then covered her face with her hand as she continued to giggle. “I had to make sure that was real. I did not believe that was real,” she said. “You know, AI is everywhere, and I thought that was AI. I didn’t think that that was real.”

“I didn’t think people could actually act that way in front of a president sitting at about 32 percent,” she added, referring to Trump’s cratering approval ratings.

Wallace continued, “That was real and with hard-hitting Cabinet officials like those, it’s no wonder Donald Trump thinks the country’s hot right now and that America is experiencing some sort of golden age.”

The former View co-host stated that Trump must either be “willfully staying in the dark by having them talk to him like that” or is “completely unaware that people are actually really, really mad and they don’t all want to tell him that they love him.”

“Or, he’s in denial about how angry and frustrated millions of Americans are now with him and his presidency,” she added. “If he went out and talked to his own voters, he would get a very different account.”

Wallace pointed to a recent Economist YouGov poll that found just 34 percent of people approve of the job Trump is doing as president. That is the lowest Trump has ever polled over his two terms in the White House. Also, for the second week in a row, 63 percent of Americans said they believe the economy is getting worse.

Trump has made his feelings about Wallace well known, writing on Truth Social in August 2025, “She is a loser, with bad ratings, who was already thrown off of The View. She will be fired soon! MSNBC IS DEAD!”

Meanwhile, the ACTUAL man in the oval office is grifting his way through the US Treasury and the taxpayers wallets each and every day, sucking up as much $$$$ as he can get his tiny little hands on for himself and his (crime) family members.     We used to get cracked up watching Joe fall every time he turned around ! 😂 That and his Porky The Pig imitation when he spoke.🤣 That’s Why Saudi Arabia sent their third or fourth man on the totem pole to meet him at the airport.       You sound like You’re intimately familiar with such going on’s. Trump’s not really orange as the leftists like to refer to him. But there IS a Democrat CongressLady who looks like she’s in her 90s and has purple hair. So that much is true.

    I thought Nicole Wallace was a journalist. This isn't journalism, its activism. Its easy to take clips and edit them to create an illusion. I'm sure cabinet members from ALL administration's show respect to their boss. This continual attempt to take things out of context to try to make Trump look bad tells any thinking person one thing: if they have to manufacture something to make him look bad, he must not be that bad!

      Even journalists find stupid stuff to be funny. I know Fox 'Not News' has you trained to laugh at other stuff (like old men being hit with hammers in their own homes, for example), so don't begrudge Ms. Wallace her laugh-of-the-day.
