In February 2026, the Guthries dealt with a major family emergency when Savannah’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, was reported missing, with police eventually confirming that they believe there was a “possible kidnapping or abduction” at her Arizona home. Two days after Nancy’s disappearance, the spotlight has been put on Savannah’s brother-in-law as an alleged possible suspect (more on that below).
