Paul Poirier is one of the ice dancers who’s about to take the 2026 Winter Olympics by storm. Ahead of the Opening Ceremony, Netflix is diving into the sport of ice dancing, with a focus on select couples, including Paul and his longtime skating partner, Piper Gilles, in the docuseries Glitter & Gold: Ice Dancing.

The Canadian ice dancers have been skating together since 2011 and previously competed for Canada at the Olympics in 2018 and 2022. Paul also competed at the 2010 Olympics with his previous partner, Vanessa Crone.
