‘Bridgerton’ Star Hannah Dodd Praises Luke Thompson & Yerin Ha as Season 4 Leads

Bridgerton‘s latest season ushers in an all-new love story, which means it’s also time for a new leading couple, with the spotlight landing on the second-eldest Bridgerton brother, Benedict (Luke Thompson), and his Lady in Silver, Sophie Baek (Yerin Ha).

Gearing up for a Cinderella story like the Ton’s never seen before, Bridgerton is embracing the love at first sight trope with Benedict and Sophie’s romance, which is sure to enchant fans when Part 1 kicks off on Thursday, January 29, on Netflix. In the meantime, Thompson and Ha’s costar Hannah Dodd is singing their praises.

When stopping by the Swooon and TV Insider Studios to discuss Season 4, we ask Dodd what it’s like to see Thompson step up for the leading role. “Oh, he just handles everything so well,” she muses. “He’s a really calm human, and so I think the thing is he’s been on that set for years and years and years, and what was really nice is that we have a lot of returning crew and returning directors, so I think it’s a space that he feels quite comfortable in.”
