‘Lioness’ Season 3 Trailer Reveals a New Mission
The Lioness is coming back. Taylor Sheridan‘s action-packed thriller was renewed by Paramount+ back in August, and now, news about what to expect from Lioness (née Special Ops: Lioness) Season 3 is starting to come through. The first Lioness Season 3 trailer reveals a high-stakes new mission for the squad.
What do we know so far about the next season of Lioness? Here’s a look.

Paramount+ has revealed that the show will premiere on Sunday, August 2.
Is there a Lioness Season 3 trailer?
Yes. Paramount+ released the full trailer for the upcoming season on July 16. In it, we see the team grappling with a new mission to protect the nation’s security.
Who stars in Lioness Season 3?

Continuing to lead the cast of Lioness are Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman, who also serve as executive producers in the series. Morgan Freeman and Michael Kelly also return in their starring roles.
They’ll be joined by new series regular Ian Bohen, who joins the cast as Grady, described as “a by-the-book Delta Force operator and primary K9 handler, skilled in battlefield tactics.” Bohen previously starred in Sheridan’s Yellowstone and Wind River. Also joining the cast is Elizaveta Neretin, who had a small role in Mayor of Kingstown but is reportedly getting a “major” role in Lioness, according to Deadline. The character is described as an international operative who crosses paths with Joe.
Season 3 cast also includes Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Genesis Rodriguez, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill, and Hannah Love Lanier.
Kidman shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the rest of the cast returning for the series, including Jordan, Garrett, Hébert, De Oliveira, Rodriguez, and Wagner.

The official description for Lioness Season 3 reads, “Hidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide. Joe walks the line between duty and home as unseen forces circle her world. Patterns appear where they shouldn’t, names vanish, and paths rearrange. Guided by Kaitlyn and Westfield, Joe confronts enemies operating in the shadows, leaving her to reckon with a war that now reaches into every part of her life.”

Best show in years! I do not own a television because there was nothing to watch. Nothing but bad news on network news due to they apparently chase ratings not the truth. The reality shows are trash so giving up TV was not hard. However I did come across Lioness after I got Paramount Plus and I am so glad I did. It is excellent, the story line. the actors. everything! I especially like the characters portrayal of real family/ personal relationships. These brave men and women and their families suffer a lot in an effort to keep the rest of us safe. I believe Lioness does let us see what a price they pay for people they don't even know.

Yellowstone, Landmark, Lioness, Mayor Of Kingstown, Tulsa King... for a guy who struggles to find good shows, I love every single damn one. Including Bas Reeves. Taylor Sheridan needs to never stop making TV shows ever.

The show should be out sooner than the fall. With Marshals and Dutton Ranch already out, then a July date would be perfect timing. Paramount Plus has some of the best shows in years. More than any other service. Even the spin-off The Madisons is a great show just too short. Landman, Tulsa King along with 1883, 1923 and with 1944 coming out soon and many more. Paramount is on its way to number one service to have.

Taylor Sheridan is genius. My husband & I are huge fans Lionesses and Landman. Only wish that it didn’t take years between the seasons because it’s hard to keep up interest when you have to wait 2-3 years before you can get results. Also Paramount Plus is not user friendly. Love Mayor of Kings Town as well.

We just rewatched Season 2 thinking that Season 3 was coming any day now. I can't believe a decision on S3 took so long, but at least the correct decision was made. Looking forward to another season of this outstanding show.
