As soon as Bridgerton graced our screens in 2020, we couldn’t get enough of the romantic Regency world. Insatiable as we are, the wait in between seasons feels like forever — so we started consuming Bridgerton in its original form, aka author Julia Quinn’s eight-book series.

From the get-go, we understood what Shondaland saw in it. Each Bridgerton kid gets their own swoonworthy, unputdownable love story. Like the show, the first two books follow Daphne and Anthony. An Offer From a Gentleman charts Benedict’s Cinderella-esque romance with a maid, which will unfold in the upcoming fourth season of the Netflix drama. Book four depicts Colin and Penelope’s tumultuous journey from friends to lovers, a story that fans already saw unfold in Bridgerton Season 3.
