Sarah Michelle Gellar Teases First Photo From ’Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ Revival

It’s almost time to head back to Sunnydale, and Sarah Michelle Gellar gave fans the first look at the highly anticipated revival of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

On July 22, Sarah posted a pair of photos on social media taken from what appears to be the table read for the upcoming Hulu series. In the first photo, Sarah, 48, showed her name card (which featured her full name, recognizing her 20+ year marriage to Freddie Prinze Jr.). Yes, she will be reprising the role of “Buffy Summers,” the blonde vampire hunter who fought all sorts of supernatural beasties for over seven seasons on The WB/UPN.
