The markets aren’t big, but the matchup is compelling.

The 2025 NBA Finals between the Eastern Conference champion Indiana Pacers and the Western Conference Champion Oklahoma City Thunder — two franchises seeking their first NBA championship in their current cities — tips off Thursday, June 5, with Game 1 at Oklahoma City’s Paycom Center.

The Thunder, with an NBA-best 68–14 regular-season record, are led by MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and supported by Jalen Williams, Alex Caruso and Isaiah Hartenstein.

The Pacers have emerged as a resilient force, overcoming early season struggles to secure their second Finals appearance since joining the NBA in 1976. Guided by Tyrese Haliburton’s playmaking and Pascal Siakam’s leadership, Indiana’s efficient offense and depth have been instrumental in their postseason run.

ABC has complete TV coverage of the best-of-seven-game series.
