‘NCIS: Sydney’: Get Sneak Peek at Action-Packed Season 2 in New Trailer (VIDEO)
“This is one of those moments where the Navy expects you to think outside the box, to have the guts to ignore history and trust your instinct,” Special Agent Michelle Mackey (Olivia Swann) says in TV Insider’s exclusive first look at the NCIS: Sydney Season 2 trailer.
And based on everything that’s teased in the new footage? That’s good advice to keep in mind. There’s a ship that’s hijacked—watch to see who NCIS Special Agent DeShawn Jackson (Sean Sagar) saves— as well as the hunt for a terrorist while trying to recapture a stolen missile and solve a double homicide. And we can’t help but wonder what exactly it is that AFP Sergeant Jim “JD” Dempsey (Todd Lasance) is “enjoying.” Watch the full trailer above for much more from the action-packed season.
NCIS: Sydney also stars Tuuli Narkle (AFP Constable Evie Cooper), Mavournee Hazel (AFP Forensic Scientist Bluebird “Blue” Gleeson), and William McInnes (AFP Forensic Pathologist Dr. Roy Penrose).
In Season 2, the multinational task force of U.S. NCIS agents and the Australian Federal Police (AFP) has just found its feet but now must square off against a much more powerful adversary. The investigation into Rankin (Lewis Fitz-Gerald) reveals a looming destructive chaos that threatens the stability of the region. The cases are bigger, locations more exotic, and the stakes much higher. With everything on the line, will the team triumph against all odds – or be torn apart at their very core?
It all begins with the January 31 premiere, “Heart Starter.” With a rogue assassin on the run, the team will do whatever it takes to crack the case on DeShawn’s first day as boss, even if that means waking the dead. Now, we can’t help but wonder why DeShawn is boss and it seems Mackey no longer is…

Not Happy they cancelled NCIS Hawai'i, and put this crapola on. And the same goes for NCIS Origins! I only watch the original NCIS now. I don't like the characters on Sydney or the actors who play them. I don't like the guy who plays Gibbs on Origins, or any of the other actors. NCIS spinoffs have really gone downhill since Hawai'i was cancelled!

Can't believe they dumped NCIS Hawai'i and kept this turkey.
