‘Mystery At Blind Frog Ranch’ Season 3 Trailer Tracks Search for $3 Billion in Aztec Gold (VIDEO)

There’s great news for fans who have been anxiously waiting for more episodes of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch. Discovery has revealed in the TV Insider exclusive teaser, below, that Season 3 of the popular series will premiere on November 15.
The show follows Duane Ollinger and a crew that includes his son Chad, retired sheriff Charlie Snider, and Eric Drummond, a renowned geologist. Together they explore his 160-acre ranch in Utah’s Uintah Basin. Along with pouring in tons of money and resources, Ollinger and his team have risked life and limb to discover what’s below the system of seven underground caves that run through the property.
Blind Frog Ranch has been a prime site for treasure seekers for hundreds of years. Adding to its lore is the fact it sits nearly adjacent to Skinwalker Ranch, known for paranormal sightings and other unexplained activity. It’s like Gold Rush meets Ghost Adventures.
During season 3, Ollinger plans to revisit the ancient secrets about what lies beneath his land, hoping to uncover Aztec gold worth in the ballpark of $3 billion. The network teases that there are more stunning revelations that change what they really know about their land. During the clip, it alludes to the crew facing a potential spirit guarding what’s below. The expert they’ve enlisted describes a keyhole formation they’ve only seen at a Mayan ruin or Stonehenge. We see Chad holding gold with the belief they may be sitting on their biggest find ever.
To help in the exploration, they’re using new quantum technology, as well as new experts, to help pinpoint where they should focus their underground search. Among other challenges the team will face include claim jumpers illegally digging on their property, and trying to reach the gold first.
This follows last season which saw them discover gallium, a rare metal found in the rocks in the Aztec box they brought up from the cave. There was also a dramatic scene during the season finale where Duane nearly succumbed to H2S (poisonous gas). A reality check for the family for the risk involved. During their cave exploration, they found some cave carvings, but there was more left to explore. What will they find? We’ll find out soon enough.
