‘Big Brother’ Season 24 & ‘The Challenge: USA’ Premiere Dates Set for Summer 2022 on CBS
Wednesdays on CBS this summer are going to be your destination for reality competitions.
Big Brother returns for its 24th season and The Challenge debuts the newest series in the franchise, The Challenge: USA, on Wednesday, July 6. Both will kick off the seasons with 90-minute episodes, beginning at 8/7c. Both will also be available to stream live and on demand on the CBS app and Paramount+.

Julie Chen Moonves will continue to host Big Brother, as a group of all-new houseguests move into the house for a season full of new and unique twists. After the premiere, it will air Thursdays at 9/8c (featuring the live evictions), and Sundays and Wednesdays at 8/7c. The Live Feeds will continue to be available on Paramount+.
The Challenge was the very first reality competition series when it premiered on June 1, 1998 on MTV, and it has had quite a few spinoffs, including All Stars, the third season of which is currently dropping Wednesdays on Paramount+. This special edition on CBS, The Challenge: USA, brings together fan favorites from the network’s reality shows, including Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Love Island, to compete in one of the most unpredictable and demanding games of their lives, living in a constant state of paranoia and unable to trust anyone but themselves. T.J. Lavin will host this version as he does the others. After the premiere, it will air Wednesdays at 9/8c.
The contestants of The Challenge: USA aren’t just competing for the $500,000 prize, but also for a spot on The Challenge: World Championship (working title), which will stream on Paramount+. That global tournament was announced in February as part of the ViacomCBS Investors Event. It was said then that winners from The Challenge: USA will face off with winners from The Challenge: Argentina, The Challenge: Australia, and The Challenge: U.K. for the first-ever title as the “Challenge” World Champion.
